Updates can fail for a number of reasons:
- during the update, the app is closed
- during the update, the Digital Knee is disconnected from the app (i.e. as the distance between the phone and the module increases)
- the Digital Knee battery goes dead
If the app is running, a prompt should be displayed:
If an update fails, choose the best option below:
- Light blue LED: Your Digital Knee has been interrupted. Once you are back in range or your app is reopened the update process will continue. The LED will turn orange after a couple of minutes and the update process will resume. Please keep the app open and phone close to your Digital Knee until the update process is complete.
- Orange LED: Your Digital Knee is ready to update. Re-open the app and the update will start automatically. Please keep the app open and phone close to your Digital Knee until the update process is complete.
- Green LED: Your Digital Knee is running normally and is ready to perform an update. Re-open the app and the update will start automatically. Please keep the app open and phone close to your Digital Knee until the update process is complete.
- Red LED: Your Digital Knee is running normally but has a low battery. Please charge your Digital Knee until it shows a solid green LED, then complete the update. Re-open the app and the update will start automatically. Please keep the app open and phone close to your Digital Knee until the update process is complete.
