Your Opum Digital Knee Sensor communicates with your phone using Bluetooth/BLE technology.
Bluetooth/BLE technology is commonly used for many things including wireless headphones and speakers, keyboards, and mice.
For common devices such as speakers, your phone is able to connect with these devices directly through the setting menu in your phone.
To protect your personal health information the Opum Digital Knee sensor will not successfully connect through the Bluetooth settings menu in your phone but will only successfully connect through the Opum App.

Once your sensor has been successfully connected to your phone the sensor and your phone will automatically reconnect whenever it is necessary and they are close by.
To reconnect to do your exercise each day simply ensure that your Opum Digital Knee Sensor is turned on and that the App is open. Your sensor will typically reconnect in 20 to 30 seconds.
The icons shown at the top of each page indicate the status of the connection between your Opum Digital Knee Sensor and your Phone.
