Your phone connects you to your Opum Digital Knee sensor through Bluetooth.
The steps below will only need to be completed during initial set up.
After you have taken the steps to connect your phone and digital knee for the first time your sensor will reconnect to your phone automatically going forward.
Connecting to your Opum Digital Knee must be done from within the Opum mobile App
You will not be able to sucessfully connect to your sensor through the settings menu of your phone
- Turn on your Opum Digital Knee (hold button until a light comes on) on initial set-up you want to ensure you have a fully charged device this will be indicated by a green light.
If you have a red light when you power on your Digital Knee, please plug it into any USB charger until light is green, before proceeding. - Ensure Bluetooth on your phone is turned on.
- Open the OPUM App on your phone and sign in. The app will ask if you wish to search for your Digital Knee
- Select Search and the app will begin the connection process.
- If you wish to do this later, you will be able connect at any point in the future by tapping the Gear Icon in the App to navigate to "Settings" and selecting “Connect my device” from the menu.
- After a few seconds the App will list the devices which are found
- Once your Opum Digital Knee is shown in the list, press and release the power button on your sensor. The light will turn blue.
- While the light on the sensor is blue, select your OPUM Digital Knee from the Bluetooth list in the app.
- After a few seconds, your phone will prompt you to accept a pairing request from the OPUM Digital Knee.
- Accept the pairing request.
